Bridgetown Barbados – June 29, 2026 – The Barbados Accreditation Council (BAC) has
been honoured with the Regional Partnership Excellence Award by the Antigua and
Barbuda National Accreditation Board (ABNAB), recognising the Council’s longstanding
support of the Board and its commitment to strengthening quality assurance across the
Caribbean.
In presenting the award, ABNAB recognised the BAC as a steadfast regional partner whose
collaboration has helped to strengthen quality assurance efforts and support the development of
shared standards across the Caribbean. The recognition reflects the value of strong regional
partnerships in enhancing operations, sharing expertise, and fostering a culture of continuous
improvement among quality assurance agencies.
BAC Executive Director, Mrs. Lisa Gale, accepted the award on behalf of the Council and
welcomed the recognition as a reflection of the value of regional collaboration.
