The Barbados Accreditation Council welcomes its new Research and Development Officer I, Mr. Jonre Waterman, effective November 1st, 2023.
Jonre holds a Bachelor of Science degree (BSc.) in Economics and Master of Science degree (MSc.) in Financial and Business Economics, both from the UWI Cave Hill Campus. Before his appointment, Mr. Waterman has served as Research Consultant at the BAC since 2020, contributing to various initiatives including monthly statistics, support for the implementation of the Barbados Qualifications & Credit Framework and the development of the BAC’s Recognition Services database. Mr. Waterman looks forward to applying these skills and years of experience in this new post.
Executive Director, Lisa Gale said, “As we continue to streamline our operations and upgrade our policies and procedures, the need for research and data analysis has become even more paramount. We look forward to his contribution as we move towards the next phase of the BQCF’s implementation.”
