Executive Director of the Barbados Accreditation Council, Mrs. Lisa Gale paid a courtesy call to the Immigration Department as she continued her aim at strengthening stakeholder relations. She was flanked by Administrative Officer Ms. Requell Griffith who manages the CARICOM Skills Certificate portfolio.
Chief Immigration Officer Mr. Wayne Marshall was joined by Assistant Chief Immigration Officer Ms. Elaine McDonald. The discussion covered issues relating to the mandate of the BAC, CSME issues, movement of persons, fraudulent documentation and the involvement of stakeholders. Both organisations reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring that CARICOM nationals were appropriately accommodated.
