NQF Project Implementation

To facilitate the preparations for the design, development and implementation of the NQF, the Council hosted the National Qualification Framework (NQF) Consultants, Dr Armand Hughes-D’Aeth and Dr Paulette Dunn-Smith during the months of January to March.  During this initial phase of the NQF project, Dr Hughes D’Aeth, accompanied by the Executive Director, Ms Valda Alleyne, visited several Tertiary Education and Training Providers, other Stakeholders and paid Courtesy Calls to the Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, and the Minister of Labour, Social Security & Human Resources Development.  Within the Council a number of briefing sessions were conducted with staff, and one stakeholders’ forum.  The Consultants return in March and May/June for the second phase of their contracted duties.
